As Yue placed the tea service quietly on the table, Clow tried to hide his disappointment. Only two slim envelopes lay upon the silver tray next to the sugar bowl and pitcher of cream. The magician's slim smile rose to his lips with his teacup. "So few, Yue?"

Cerberus chuckled from his spot on the fireplace rug. "I chase owls all day," he yawned while rolling onto his back and stretching. "Tell Clow what you do with the rest, Yue."

Clow subtly raised his eyebrows. Yue cast his counterpart an annoyed glance and folded his hands in his lap without looking at his maker. "The others were unfit for reading." Yue's voice was almost a mumble. "These were... acceptable."

The sorcerer rubbed his nose. He opened one of the envelopes and curiously perused the contents of the fan letter while asking, lightly, "By what criteria are you judging?" His smile grew a bit wider. Letter still in the other hand, he propped an elbow on the arm of his chair and rested his chin in his palm.

"Penmanship. Grammar." Because Yue could not bring himself to look at Clow, he did not see the magician's growing amusement.

"Content?"

Cerberus snorted with laughter.
