My dearest Cardcaptor (shiny title, isn't it?):

Congratulations, and welcome to the wonderful -if sometimes messy- world of magic! In the unlikely case that you don't panic and do read this in the first place, here is a bit of advice that you might find useful:

Follow Kerberos's advice.

Yes, that is all. In spite of what appearances might seem to indicate, he usually does know what he is talking about. (What, you expected me to tell you how to capture the Cards? That would take the sport out of it, wouldn't it?)

Apart from the Cards themselves, you will find yourself dealing with two Guardians. Yue must always be treated with great care, for he is much more sensitive than he shows. You will soon discover that he is extremely loyal and will protect you from anything and everything. If you notice that a surprising number of people feel strangely attached to him, just blame it on his explain to them that it's because of his moon magic.

As for Kerberos, I'm sure that he will tell you himself how he wants to be treated. Repeatedly.

They are supposed to quarrel all the time, of course. You needn't worry about it; those two are very fond of each other deep inside. (Just don't tell them I said that.)

I believe that is all you need to know for now. I would wish you luck, but I highly doubt it is necessary.

Yours,

Clow Reed

PS: If you only find this years after capturing all the Cards, just let me tell you that at least that was not my fault.

not so random comment: there is a shiney, possibly gold leafed version of the clow book and cards that can be bought in certain stores. I have it on good athority that that version of the book has the writting on the inside. But it costs fifty some odd dollars >_
