Characters: The Tsubasa gang and a few Special Guest Stars
Summary: I'm pretty sure this is not what will happen next. But it'd be fun if it was. :P
Notes: First of all, there are spoilers for chapters 119 to 130 here. My second warning is that this is pure undiluted crack. And it's a crossover, but I'm not telling you the second fandom yet...
How Shaoran Got A Heart
The feeling of travelling across different dimensions disappeared at last, and Shaoran found himself in a new world. He looked around, his face as expressionless as it had become in Tokyo. The only reason why he did so was to take in his surroundings and try to find a new feather. There was no curiosity left in him, no wonder.
If there had been a little bit of the real Shaoran's personality left in him, he would have noticed that there was something odd about standing on a cloud.
The whole place seemed to be built on clouds, in fact. There was a castle in the distance, and it looked more like something out of a children's storybook than a place made for defensive purposes. All around there were rainbows and stars.
Empty as he was now, Shaoran neither liked it nor disliked it. All he registered was that everything looked harmless. If there was a feather in this world, he would have no problems getting it. Whoever lived in such a place wouldn't resist his strength; they probably wouldn't even try to fight. It was the same for him. He would just kill anyone who interfered. That was what he was made for.
Without losing any more time, he walked towards the castle. It was nearer than he had thought and, as he approached it, he started finding some of the people who lived there... if they could be called people. They were no more than bears with bright, colourful fur and little drawings on their tummies. When they saw him approach, however, they didn't appear to be afraid at all or even surprised. One of them, an orange one with a heart in its tummy, moved forward to meet him.
“Welcome to the Kingdom of Caring!” it said. “My name is Tenderheart Bear, and this is Care-a-lot Castle.”
Shaoran gave him a blank look. Those words didn't mean anything to him.
“Do you have a feather in this world?” he asked.
He sounded just as threatening and dangerous as he had when he was fighting Kamui and Fye, but the bear didn't seem to mind. It only frowned a little, and even that lasted only a moment; soon enough it was smiling again.
“We don't have a feather for you,” it said, “but we have many other things that you need! You came to Care-a-lot because you need us to show you how to care. We can help you with that. Nobody cares like a bear!”
“That's true!” another one intervened before Shaoran could answer. This one was pink with a rainbow. “I'll show you the bright side of life!”
“And I will help you have fun!” exclaimed a yellow bear with a sun on its tummy.
More and more of them were approaching now. Shaoran was forced to step back, overwhelmed by those noisy, bouncy bears. He could have easily disposed of them all if he could decide where to start – but they kept coming. They didn't give up, not even when they realized that he looked (and was) ready to kill.
“It looks like we'll need a lot of a luck,” said a green bear who sported a shamrock. “Lucky for you I'm here!”
Tenderheart Bear stepped forward again.
“It's time for the Care Bear Stare!” it exclaimed.
As soon as they heard those words, all the bears stood forming a line in front of Shaoran. It seemed as if they were making it even easier for him to destroy them. He jumped forwards – and an incredible force stopped him in midair. A powerful, rainbow-coloured wave was coming from the bears' tummies, a power that Shaoran couldn't resist...

In the ruins of Tokyo, the real Shaoran waited. It seemed that it was the only thing he could do for now. Both Fye and Kurogane were silent, each one lost in his own thoughts. Mokona had just woken up. Sakura hadn't returned yet.
At last, after what felt like ages, he saw the girl come back. She looked tired and hurt, but she was safe. They all jumped up to receive her and ask her if she had been succesful, when something unexpected interrupted them.
The clone was back.
Shaoran hadn't imagined they'd meet again so soon. He jumped in front of Sakura, ready to protect her, but she spoke before he could do anything else.
“He's different!” she exclaimed. “Look at his face!”
Amazed, Shaoran realized that she was right. The clone had an expression of perfect bliss. Careless and cheerful, he ran around his opponent and threw his arms around Sakura.
“I love you, Sakura!” he exclaimed. “Here, have your feather back!”
The girl, shocked, turned bright pink.
“I... Shaoran, I...” she began to say, but never finished. The boy was already trying to embrace the ninja.
“I love you too, Kurogane! You've always been so kind to me!”
“WHAT – ?”
“And Fye!” he exclaimed next, hugging the confused wizard. “I'm sorry I ate your eye. I really love you, I promise!”
By that point, Mokona was hiding behind Kurogane's leg. But the clone managed to get a hold of him anyway, and snuggled him close to his chest.
“I love you, Mokona! We couldn't do anything without you!” he said, while the poor creature tried to struggle free. “But most of all,” he continued, “I learned to love myself!”
He had to practically tackle the real Shaoran, and Fye had to catch Mokona when he carelessly threw it away, but at last his arms were around his original self.
“I love you, Shaoran! Thank you for giving me a chance!”
“Wha – uh – what – ?”
There was no answer. Under the group's amazed stare, the clone went prancing around the ruins, trying to hug everyone in sight. And he still looked cheerful, even now that Kazuki was running away from him.
“Um,” the real Shaoran said. It was all he said for a very long time. Not that the others were very talkative, either.
As usual, Kurogane was the first one to come back to his senses.
“... exactly what happened here?” he asked. Shaoran looked almost apologetic.
“Uh. Well,” he said. “Looks like he got a heart after all.”
“And,” Sakura intervened, sounding worried in spite of her obvious effort not to, “will he stay like this?”
Shaoran shrugged.
“It's better than the alternative,” Fye said weakly. He didn't sound very convinced, either.
“There is a good side,” said Mokona. “Yuuko will get a laugh.”
